1. Agreement and eligibility
These terms form an agreement between you and Experir di Evandro Beqaj, VAT number 04101440123, when you create an account, publish content, purchase a plan, or otherwise use account features. You must be at least 16. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms for you.
If you use Prototir for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Do not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
2. The service
Prototir lets people publish, run, discover, discuss, analyze, download, and remix interactive prototypes. The service is in beta. Features, limits, and availability can change as it develops. We may suspend features for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or platform integrity.
3. Accounts and security
Provide accurate information, protect access to your email and linked sign-in providers, and notify prototir@experir.com if you believe the account is compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security.
4. Your content and the license to Prototir
You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Prototir a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical delivery, scan for safety, create thumbnails or previews of, distribute, publicly display, and make your content available as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service. The license lasts while the content is hosted and for a reasonable period in backups, caches, legal records, and materials already created with your permission.
You confirm that you own the content or have every permission needed to upload it and grant this license, including rights in code, images, audio, fonts, brands, personal data, and third-party libraries. You remain responsible for licenses and notices inside your bundle.
5. Public, unlisted, open-source, and template content
- Public content can appear in discovery, search, profiles, embeds, editorial Picks, and promotional material about Prototir.
- Unlisted content is omitted from normal discovery but can be accessed by people who have its link.
- Open-source or remixable means the creator has enabled source download. It does not replace the license included with the source. If no separate license is provided, downloading alone does not grant rights beyond evaluating it through Prototir.
- Templates are intentionally offered as starting points. A template must identify its applicable license, and remixes must preserve required notices and Prototir lineage metadata.
When you remix or use a template, declare the source through Prototir's lineage field and follow the original license. Lineage is attribution metadata, not permission to copy material you are not licensed to use.
6. Community contributions
You grant Prototir the same operational license for comments, tags, reports, and other contributions. Feedback to another creator does not transfer ownership of your unrelated ideas, but you allow that creator to use the feedback without payment or confidentiality obligations. Likes, points, tips, badges, and rankings are platform signals, have no cash value, and cannot be sold or withdrawn.
7. User-hosted jams and challenges
A user who creates a jam or challenge is the event host. The host, not Prototir or Experir, defines and administers the prompt, eligibility, admission, schedule, judging, conduct rules, communications, and results unless the event page and official rules expressly identify Experir as the organizer. Publishing an event on Prototir does not make it endorsed, verified, sponsored, or co-organized by Prototir.
Hosts must publish accurate rules and have authority to run the event. They are responsible for applicable laws, age and territory restrictions, permits, insurance, accessibility, venue and participant safety, staff, taxes, judging integrity, winner communications, and disputes. Host rules must not conflict with these terms or remove rights that applicable law gives participants. Prototir may restrict or remove an event that creates legal, safety, fraud, or platform-integrity risk.
Online participation links and physical venues are supplied by the host. Prototir does not inspect venues, supervise attendance, verify organizers, or control services reached through organizer links. Participants should review the host's identity, rules, privacy notice, safety arrangements, and venue before taking part. Hosts must not publish a private residence or sensitive location as a public venue.
Public events appear in discovery. An unlisted jam can be opened by anyone who has its link. A private event is intended only for the host, invited accounts, and entrants, but every participant must still avoid sharing confidential material unnecessarily. Approval or invitation grants access only; it does not waive account, plan, bundle, ownership, deadline, content, or safety requirements.
8. Prizes, awards, and platform sponsorship
Prototir allows a host to disclose a free-to-enter skill or merit prize for a jam. The host must identify the legal prize provider, describe the prize accurately, publish complete official rules at an HTTPS URL, and confirm responsibility for compliance before publishing. A disclaimer does not replace the organizer's legal obligations.
User-hosted events must not use:
- random draws, chance-based selection, lotteries, wagering, or gambling;
- an entry fee, required purchase, donation, paid vote, points payment, or pay-to-win mechanism;
- cash, cash equivalents, gift cards functioning as cash, cryptocurrency, securities, financial instruments, unlawful items, or age-restricted goods or services as prizes; or
- false sponsorship claims or the Prototir or Experir name in a way that implies endorsement.
Official rules should state the organizer and contact details, eligibility and territories, opening and closing times, free entry method, judging criteria and process, prize quantity and value, delivery timing, taxes and costs, disqualification rules, privacy information, and dispute process. The host is solely responsible for securing the prize, selecting and verifying winners, delivery, permits or filings, taxes, and participant claims.
Italian DPR 430/2001 may regulate commercial promotional prize contests and can require advance communication, official rules, a bond, and official oversight. Some awards for artistic, scientific, or project merit may fall within exclusions under Article 6, but this depends on the facts. Hosts must not assume that calling an event a jam, competition, or merit award makes it exempt. Obtain qualified advice for every territory in which the event is offered.
For a user-hosted prize, Prototir and Experir are not the prize provider, sponsor, co-organizer, judge, fiduciary, escrow agent, guarantor, or fulfillment service. Creators cannot select a Prototir-sponsored status. An event is organized by Experir only when Prototir expressly marks it as such and Experir-issued official rules say so. Those event-specific rules supplement these terms, and Experir is responsible only for the commitments it expressly makes there.
9. Event applications and participant data
For approval-gated jams, a host receives the applicant's public display name, handle, optional application note, application status, and relevant event activity. Prototir does not provide the applicant's account email or billing details to the host. Hosts may use application information only to administer that event and must not build unrelated marketing lists, sell it, or use it to discriminate unlawfully.
If a host collects delivery addresses, tax information, identity evidence, parental permission, or other winner data through an external form or direct contact, the host is independently responsible for a lawful basis, a clear privacy notice, data minimization, security, retention, processors, international transfers, and data-subject requests. Do not request that information in a public event description, application note, comment, or prototype.
10. Prohibited use
Do not upload or use Prototir for unlawful content, malware, credential theft, unauthorized surveillance, harassment, sexual exploitation, threats, fraud, spam, manipulation of sessions or votes, infringement, privacy violations, bypassing sandbox or rate limits, scraping that harms the service, or access to systems and data without permission. Do not publish secrets or production credentials in a prototype bundle.
11. Moderation and notices
We may scan, review, restrict, reject, remove, preserve, or disclose content when reasonably necessary for safety, these terms, law, or the rights of others. Automated tools can assist but do not replace review where context matters. Use in-product reporting for ordinary violations and the copyright notice process for intellectual-property claims. Eligible moderation decisions can be appealed.
12. Paid plans
Prices, billing intervals, included limits, and applicable taxes are shown before checkout. Paid plans are sold through Link using Stripe Managed Payments. Link is the merchant of record for the transaction and handles payment processing, indirect-tax calculation and remittance, transaction receipts and invoices, fraud and dispute handling, and transaction-level support under the Link terms. Prototir remains responsible for providing the platform and product support.
Subscriptions renew until canceled through the customer's Link account. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the paid period unless Link's transaction terms or applicable law require otherwise. Refund requests can be made through Link support; Link may make transaction refund decisions under its Managed Payments rules. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. Enterprise terms may be governed by a separate written agreement.
14-day withdrawal: Prototir gives every self-serve Pro or Team subscriber a 14-day window from successful subscription creation to withdraw for a full refund of the initial transaction. Exercising withdrawal cancels the subscription immediately and paid access ends at once, including Team access for its members. The subscriber or Team owner can exercise this from Plans & pricing; an email notice or Link support request made before the deadline is also accepted when self-service is unavailable. Full instructions and a model notice appear in the withdrawal policy. This promise does not limit mandatory consumer remedies, including for a service that is not supplied or does not conform to the contract.
13. Third-party services and prototypes
User-created prototypes and external links are supplied by their creators, not endorsed by Prototir. Prototypes run in a restricted sandbox, but you should still use judgment before granting camera or microphone access or following external links. Third-party services, libraries, sign-in providers, payment services, and AI providers have their own terms.
14. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the beta service is provided as available without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. Otherwise, Prototir is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost profits, lost data, or user-created content. You should keep your own source backups.
15. Ending use
You may stop using Prototir and delete your account from Account settings. Active paid subscriptions must be canceled through Link first. We may restrict or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, or material security risk, with notice and appeal where appropriate.
16. Law, changes, and contact
Italian law governs these terms, without taking away mandatory protections or courts available to consumers where they live. We may update the terms for legal, security, or product changes and will give reasonable notice when a change materially affects users. Contact prototir@experir.com.
